DON’T JUST STICK TO THE RETAILERS YOU KNOW
Human nature is to take comfort in the familiar, but this can be a hindrance when it comes to finding great prices. If you’re looking for Ralph Lauren, you’ll probably check a few retailers you know of, but really, you ought to be looking at other retailers who stock Ralph Lauren too. One quick way to do that is to jump over to Google Shopping and type that brand in, and hey presto, a list of retailers who sell Ralph Lauren that you can now keep tabs on for when they have sales. From there, another great tip is to use a site like SimilarWeb – you enter a web address and they’ll tell you sites that are similar. SET UP GOOGLE ALERTS
Google Alerts is a tool that lots of people don’t know about, but has such a gold mine of opportunity to it. Go to “Google Alerts” and type in the alert you want e.g. “topshop Sale” – enter your email address and click ‘create alert’. You’ll now get an email every time Google finds a new occurrence of your phrase. You can link this with tip 1 to make sure all of these alerts are getting organised in your Inbox.
DON’T WAIT FOR THE MAIN SALES PERIODS
